Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Astrika (the "Service"), operated by Astrika Technologies, based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Throughout this document "we", "us", and "our" refer to Astrika Technologies. "You" refers to the person using the Service.

By creating an account, generating a kundali, or making a purchase on astrika.in, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Astrika is a Vedic Jyotish platform that computes sidereal birth charts using Swiss Ephemeris and Lahiri Ayanamsa, and produces AI-generated readings based on classical Parashari and Jaimini principles. The Service includes:

• A free birth chart (Rasi D1 + Navamsa D9) with planetary positions, dashas, and yogas.
• One free detailed AI reading per account.
• Paid full readings, Prashna (question answers), and Kundali Milan (compatibility) via a credit system.

Astrika is for guidance and self-reflection. Readings are not professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. See our AI Disclaimer for the full scope.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. By signing up you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide (email, name, birth details) is accurate.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us at support@astrika.in if you suspect unauthorised access. You may log out from all sessions using the Sign Out option, which invalidates all issued tokens.

The Service uses credits as its internal currency. Credits are purchased through credit packs via Razorpay. Current pack pricing is shown on the Pricing page.

• Credits never expire.
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
• Failed readings or quality blocks are automatically refunded to your credit balance, no action required.
• Money refunds for unused credits are available within 7 days of purchase. See the Refund Policy for details.

All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Razorpay processing fees may apply on the merchant side and are not transferred to you separately.

You may use Astrika only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Resell, sublicense, or commercially distribute readings without our prior written permission.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service or its underlying APIs.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or circumvent our security, rate limits, or audit controls.
• Submit content that is unlawful, infringes IP rights, or contains prompts intended to manipulate the AI engine into producing harmful output.
• Create multiple accounts to bypass usage limits or take repeated free readings.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions. Repeated violations may result in permanent ban without refund of unused credits.

Astrika, its branding, codebase, prompt engineering, audit methodology, and the readings produced by our engine are owned by Astrika Technologies. You receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to view and use the readings produced for your own charts.

You retain ownership of your birth details. We do not claim any rights over your personal data beyond what is necessary to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for specifics.

All readings on Astrika are generated by a large language model interpreting your computed chart through classical Jyotish principles. The output is interpretive guidance, not factual prediction. AI systems can occasionally produce inaccuracies even with our verifier in place. Treat readings as one perspective among many.

Astrika is not a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. If a reading touches on such areas, please consult a licensed professional before making decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Astrika Technologies, its founders, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions you make based on a reading.

Our total liability to you for any direct claim is limited to the amount you paid Astrika in the twelve months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, beyond those required by Indian law.

You may delete your account at any time by deleting your profile in the dashboard, which cascades deletion of your charts, readings, and questions. Alternatively, email support@astrika.in to request full account closure.

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, fraudulent use, or extended inactivity. On termination, your unused credits are forfeited unless refundable under our Refund Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will first be addressed by good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India will have exclusive jurisdiction.
