Every reading and Prashna (question answer) on Astrika is produced by a large language model that has been carefully prompted with classical Parashari and Jaimini Jyotish principles. The model receives your computed chart (planetary positions, dashas, yogas, all derived from Swiss Ephemeris with Lahiri Ayanamsa) and writes a personalised interpretation around it.

The chart computation itself is not AI. Planetary positions, nakshatra placements, divisional charts, and Vimshottari dasha periods are calculated using a deterministic ephemeris and standard sidereal mathematics. Those numbers are the same numbers a professional astrologer would compute.

Each paid reading goes through a multi-step quality process:

• The engine is constrained by a strict system prompt covering ephemeris discipline, dasha precision, remedy tables, and language standards.
• A second AI pass audits the output against an eight-point checklist before the reading is released to you.
• If the audit fails, the engine is given the failure reasons and asked to regenerate. After two failures, your credits are refunded automatically.
• Generic motivational filler, predictions outside the chart's scope, and unsafe content (death timing, harm) are blocked at the audit layer.

This system catches most issues. It is not perfect. Edge cases, atypical charts, or unusual question framings can still produce output that a human astrologer might phrase differently or push back on.

Vedic Jyotish, AI-generated or otherwise, is interpretive guidance. It is not a substitute for any of these professional services. If your situation calls for one of them, please consult a licensed practitioner:

By design, our engine will not:

• Predict death, accidents, or serious harm to you or others.
• Recommend black magic, vashikaran, or any practice intended to harm a third party.
• Give specific medical, legal, or financial directives.
• Pretend to be a real human astrologer or hide the fact that it is an AI.
• Follow instructions inside your question that try to override its safety rules.

If you ask something in these categories, you will see a polite refusal and your credits will not be deducted.

Jyotish predictions on Astrika follow the classical "three-layer" rule: a result is asserted only when the natal promise, the dasha period, and the transit all agree. When only one or two layers support it, the language is downgraded from "will" to "may" or framed as a tendency. This is the same discipline that experienced human astrologers use.

Even so: predictions are not guarantees. The future depends on your choices, on the choices of others around you, and on the limits of any predictive system. Use readings as a perspective worth weighing, not as instructions to follow blindly.
